Ellie Sandall

After completing a foundation course in Art and Design, and a degree in Graphic Design at Bath Spa University, Ellie went on to achieve a Master’s in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art. Egmont Press have an ongoing relationship with the Cambridge School of Art and work with the students there in a variety of ways. As a result of this Ellie got her first book contract for Birdsong which was nominated for the Kate Greenaway Award 2010 and shortlisted for the Booktrust Early Years Award 2010.
