Kate Brown
Kate Brown lives and works full-time making comics in Oxford, UK. She started out doing a degree in sequential illustration. She has now written and illustrated lots of comics, but the ones you might have seen are The Spider Moon, which was serialised in the The DFC weekly, (written and drawn by her) and A Midsummer Night's Dream, which she illustrated for SelfMadeHero's Manga Shakespeare series.
She likes comics (obviously), sea creatures (particularly crustaceans), aquariums, snails, dolls and figurines and puppets, rainy weather, soup, sandwiches, cartoons, books, films and music. She is unable to make muffins, and this makes her quite sad. She was born in 1984.
