Celebrating British Children’s Writers & Illustrators of Colour

Pop Up worked with live literature organisation Speaking Volumes and children’s reading charity BookTrust to promote, celebrate and evaluate their ground-breaking Breaking New Ground initiative.

Breaking New Ground is an invaluable tool for anyone working with children’s books – teachers, librarians, booksellers, programmers and producers – and seeking to diversify their bookshelves or events.

Breaking New Ground was launched at The London Book Fair 2019, followed by a series of events in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise awareness across the country.
