Pop Up Magazine

Inspiring young people to read, write and draw.

Pop Up Magazine is our free child-centred publication for 5-14 year-old readers in primary and secondary schools participating. Originally produced for Pop Up Festival, our schools programme, it’s a year-round resource, packed with exciting and original content from a range of brilliant and diverse contemporary children’s authors. Contributing authors have included Chris Haughton, Eoin Colfer, Patrice Lawrence, Beverley Naidoo, Chris Riddell, Joseph Coelho and William Grill.

With its sophisticated design and its artist-led content, Pop Up Magazine is a wonderful way of inspiring young readers to write and draw stories of their own. Over 30,000 magazines have been distributed to schools, homes, libraries, museums, galleries and cultural spaces in the communities local to our partner schools.
