Pop Up Festival

Our National Schools Literature Festival has been bringing literature to life for tens of thousands of pupils since 2011

Every year we run a highly-acclaimed literacy programme, called Pop Up Festival.

Perfect for whole schools and Key Stages, it stimulates a school-wide celebration of literature.

See your pupils be inspired by interacting with published authors in classroom workshops.

About

We collaborate with schools to create a term-long programme of diverse, contemporary books and themed activities to suit all ages and abilities, including SEND.

Schools select and receive class sets of books and high-quality resources. Teachers learn from professional authors in optional author-led CPD sessions.

Classes can meet their authors in local libraries, museums, galleries, heritage and outdoor spaces.

Pupils can publish their creative responses on our safe digital platform, Pop Up Hub.

Join the hundreds of primary, secondary, and special schools that have already seen the transformative impact of Pop Up Festival on pupils’ reading enjoyment, confidence, wellbeing and literacy skills.
