Pop Up Hub is our free, child-centred digital platform for teachers and pupils that builds creativity and collaboration. It brings interactions with children’s literature online and introduces new audiences to diverse authors and exceptional books.
Pop Up Hub helps pupils connect reading with creativity and self-expression, and to transform readers into writers. It sparks teachers’ and pupils’ imaginations and showcases the hundreds of quality contemporary books that feature in our year-round flagship Education programme, Pop Up Festival. Pop Up Hub is constantly being developed with new resources, books, authors and features added every year.
‘Explore Books’ features hundreds of amazing books for ages 5-18, including picture books, stories, novels, graphic novels, comics, non-fiction and poetry – with diverse, inclusive representation. All of the books are searchable by theme, text type and suitability for different age ranges and key stages.
Learn about authors
Every featured writer and illustrator has their own page, with information about them and their work, alongside a selection of their books that have appeared in our programmes.
Share pupils’ work
In the ‘Showroom’, teachers can upload pupils’ work to share with the world. It is a great way to give pupils a purpose for writing and foster pride in their work. Use creative responses to books from pupils in other schools to inspire your pupils and get ideas for your own teaching.
The ‘Teacher Centre’ includes a growing collection of stimulating resources created by writers, illustrators, teachers and literature experts. You can upload your own book-themed resources to share with other teachers.
