Sahar Haghgoo is an Iranian-English illustrator living in London,
inspired by nature, people around her and things in everyday life.
She creates her illustrations through digital and mixed media
techniques, and has a love for theatre, making connections between
theatrical scenes and her illustrations.
Sahar self-published several titles before joining Pathways. Her first
UK book, Here Be Monsters by Jay Hulme, was published in 2021 as
part of Pop Up’s ‘10 Stories to Make a Difference’ collection and was
nominated for the Kate Greenaway Medal 2022. Sahar has recently
signed a multi-book deal with Nosy Crow, the first two titles being
Princess Minna: The Unicorn Mix-Up (2022) and Princess Minna: The
Enchanted Forest (2022), both by Kirsty Applebaum
