Developing Your Books and Pitching Your Stories
Module Three is the final piece of the puzzle, where you will apply your knowledge on character design and development, visual language, colour, typography, sequential narratives and storyboarding to work on developing picture books, comics and graphic novels, and explore the world of illustrated fiction and non-fiction.
Through one-day Masterclasses and two-day Short Courses, you will have the opportunity to explore new ways of working, experiment and develop your creative practice in various forms of children’s publishing and gain vital publishing sector insight.
This module also includes Professional Development Events on building your portfolio and digital profile, as well as an opportunity to meet agents, editors and art directors.
