Explore the psychology of colour and how it can be used effectively to cultivate atmosphere and stimulate emotion, and as a tool to illuminate detail that’s integral to the story.

In this Masterclass, you will learn how to mix colours, create a colour mood board and understand colour theory. You will have work with colour theory in practice, learn how to use limited colour palettes and work with colour for screen and print (RGB and CMYK colours).

By the end of this masterclass, you will have completed colour study, produced a colour mood board for your current narrative project and also critique each other’s work.

Acclaim for Pathways Plus courses

This was definitely the best, and most inspiring course that I have participated in over the years!

Having that author/illustrator and art director insight was the best thing.

A great opportunity for networking and exchange of ideas.
