Bia Melo

Bia is an illustrator based in East London, originally from Brazil, who recently graduated with Masters in Children’s Book Illustration from Cambridge School of Art with a The Queen Elizabeth Trust scholarship. Bia’s degree books projects won Highly Commended for The Macmillan Prize for Illustration and selected at Golden Pinwheel Young Illustrators Awards in China and the The Unpublished Picturebook showcase dPICTUS presented at Bologna Book fair. Her previous work was also a finalist as New Talent at World Illustration Awards.
