Yuxuan Zhou

Yuxuan Zhou is a cross-disciplinary designer, illustrator and researcher based in London. She graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in 2021 with a Masters degree in Design and discovered her passion for narratives hence turns to work with children’s illustrations and zines. She enjoys the process of making and likes to experiment with various textures, mediums and colours in her pictorial world.

With her experience to study abroad and encountering graphic novels and comics from different countries, Yuxuan blends her life experience in China, Singapore and the UK in her work, and actively learns from fine art and digital painting techniques. She is interested in the clashing culture between the East and the West, and brings traditional stories and folktales into the contemporary context.
